The countdown to FoodForward SA’s Mandela Day Packing Events has officially begun, and tickets are now on sale at Webtickets.
On Friday, 17 July 2026, volunteers across Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Durban will come together to turn their 67 minutes into meaningful action, helping us fight food insecurity and support vulnerable communities across South Africa.
Every year, our Mandela Day Packing Events bring together individuals, families, community groups, and corporate teams for a hands-on volunteering experience that delivers a real impact. By packing food parcels destined for our network of Beneficiary Organisations, participants become part of a collective effort to ensure more people have access to nutritious food.
Last year, volunteers packed an incredible 200 tons of food, helping provide more than 880,000 meals. This year, we’re aiming to make an even bigger impact.
